Connectivity is King especially when you’re a frequent traveller like myself. So how do I get great connection, that’s private and secure –  protects my data by encrypting it, is mobile, but also allows me to change my geo-location so I can access blocked content from around the world.

By using a VPN. Having your own VPN answers all three asks, removing the need for you to be tied to a location – after all, who wants to hold up a hotel lobby or a coffee shop all day.

Why am I devoted mine, because in the past, I’ve set up camp in hotel rooms, lobbies or coffee shops, to gain potentially ‘unsafe’ (open wifi) public wifi access. To keep me entertained I used to rely on my tablet but since I discovered the cuddly comforts of TunnelBear, my life has changed.

So for those you who might not know what VPN is, put simply it is a “virtual private network.” – that is a group of several computers connected by a private, virtual network: which includes links across shared or public networks, like the Internet. VPN connections (VPNs).

Sounds a bit techie, well it’s not really and TunnelBear proves this, by adopting the approach of making VPN accessible, easy to acquire, safe and extremely user-friendly.

From start to finish TunnelBear engages with the user by focusing on being user-friendly and engages with its users, via visual storytelling as a cartoon bear, guides the user around the site, in a series of fun illustrations.

So how does TunnelBear stack up in the busy VPN arena ?
