Product Review of The Dandelion Archetype Adaptor
I’ve found it, the perfect travel adaptor and because I’m that kind of travel diva, I of course just had to share it with you.
Meet the Dandelion Archetype – not the catchiest name in the world of travel adaptors, but don’t let that stop you from taking the plunge and investing in this travel must have – or as their tagline says
“An universal travel adapter you can take with you on any adventure”.
So what makes the Dandelion so great? Well let me break it down for you. Having done some pretty exhaustive travel adaptor research (30 minutes, 1 latte and a salmon sandwich), I ordered via Amazon – it cost me a very affordable $19.99 – and my Dandelion arrived 24 hrs later, in a compact, lime green travel pouch.
Fashion Faux Pas – Now for all of you more fashionable travellers reading this review, I know lime green isn’t this seasons trend colour, but in terms of travel practicality, either with your shades on or off, you’ll definitely be able to spot it easily in your luggage.
Functionality – The plug operates on a rotational dial mechanism, which pops out your chosen regional plug pin from US, AUS, EU and UK. At the base of the adaptor are 2 USB charging ports.
The Dandelion instantly solved that universal problem of keeping track of separate country power plug pin attachements and best of all; it took up next to no space in my carry-on.
Charging Capacity – I love its diversity – you could charge anything from your iPad, iPhone, Android mobile phone, tablet, digital camera, through to smartphones, MP3, GPS, etc.
For the power techies among you, the adaptor AC POWER RATING is Fuse 6A Max. 100-250Vac (660W Max. at 110V, 1440W Max. at 240 V) . The Dandelion comes with a spare fuse and safety overload shutter – just the type of extras every traveller needs :0)
For me the Dandelion Archetype was is a gold star winner !!! It’s well designed, totally user-friendly, stylishly compact and offers diverse charging options for its user.
