Fall/Winter is here and as the nights draw in, all we’re interested in, putting in some extra cozy time on the sofa. Here are our top tips for staying nice and toasty, whether you’re at home or away.

LAYERS ARE A MUST

Being able to stay warm, without looking like you’ve gained an extra few pounds, or just feeling uncomfortable, is easy when you create a warm clothese cocoon, using layers. Start with a light-weight vest top, then layer it with a sweater, sweatshirt or fleece top. Those layers combine, makeup work a great middle layer. They should be slim-fitting but not too tight, to stop you from overheating.

THE COAT

A well-cut down coat, not only looks great over your winter wardrobe, your down coat will also provide you with an efficient barrier layer in the coldest temperatures. As you will already be layered up, your winter coat, is the final way of blocking the wind and rain.

Your must-have winter coat is the Amazon Coat that everyone has been raving about for the last four years.

THE SOCKS

There are warm socks and there are warm socks. These Womens Super Thick Wool Socks are favorites of ours for two reasons. First, they are super duper warm and despite being extra plush, they come at a great price of about $6.33 a pair! These socks are designed to be a heavier weight, perfect for colder weather to keep your toes all cozied up. Reviewers love the super fluffy wool-lined inside and the snug elastic band at the top that keeps them in place.

THE BLANKET

Whether it’s a rom-com marathon, a Netflix binge or catching the big game at the weekend, sofa time is always good time, especially when you’re snuggled up under this super-soft blanket chevron herringbone blanket. Before you ask, yes it is possible to fall in love with a blanket, especially if it’s one that makes you feel like just like you did when you were sick as a kid, was home from school and was curled up on the sofa, watching your favourite shows.

HOT CHOCOLATE

If there’s one thing you should never run out of during the winter it’s hot chocolate. That glorious swirl of sweetness in a cup, that instantly makes you smile, especially when you come in from the cold. Our favorite is Galaxy Hot Chocolate Drink, which comes in a 1000g tin, so you won’t run out in a hurry.

THE FIREPLACE

Nothing quite beats the joy of sitting in front of a roaring fireplace on a cold winter’s day. In this case the roaring fire, is actual electronic, but it’s no less glorious for being it.

The Warmlite Fire Suite has adjustable 1000W and 2000W heat settings, that let you create your ideal temperature, making this stylish fireplace suitable for use all year round. The simple plug in design lets you use this fireplace anywhere in your home or office, whilst the lightweight design allows for easy portability. A safety cut-out system provides added peace of mind when using the fireplace, making it safe as well as practical to use.

We hope our suggestions have given you some ideas on how to stay warm in the coming months.
